A Selection Of Recent Jobs 

1) I have an old Ibook 2004-2005 with 768 of ram in it its running 10.4.9 tiger just now. I am just wondering how much it would be to upgrade to 10.5 Leopard obviously thats as far as it would go? 

2) Hmmm. Was working fine yesterday. Then I updated with 10.6.3 (I think). Seems like the update has issues according to message boards - my mac will not boot.

3) I've got a iBook G4 and the screen has recently died on me. Prior to this there were a number of black horizontal lines crossing the screen and now nothing - just black, the apple on the back of the lid does not light up now either.I appreciate that this machine is getting on a bit now, but l'd like to know roughly what it would cost to repair. Could you please give me a range of prices (e.g. for a broken wire, or new screen) which would allow me to figure out if I should just retire it or get it fixed. 

4) hi, my macbook pro suddenly freezes and becomes all pixelated. when i reboot it does the same and doesn't even boot to the desktop and freezes again. could it be a graphics card issue? and if so, can it be fixed 

5) Computer won't turn on. Machine keeps making a clicking sound in sync with the orange/green charger light flashing.

6) Hi, have a imac G5 20" which has a failed logic board, been told it is not the problem with dodgy capacitors. Logic board and psu have been previously replaced under warranty. What would be the cost to fix this, I would drop it off.

7) My macbook will not turn on,weve tried all the trouble shooting options on the apple site,the power lead is fine, the day before it wouldnt power on the right shift key was playing up even though it wasnt pressed we have had the macbook 22 months and taken very good care of it, so hopefully it can be repaired please.

8) have a problem with my mac, it can't start up. The screen is grey with apple sign and grey circle is run around. It happed after restart. Hope you can help

9) I have an iMac G4 Power PC, 700Mhz 15 inch screen. I believe power supply has failed/fried and needs replacing. Can you give me an indication of price to supply and replace the power supply please. I also have a G5 Intel based Imac 24'' - I believe that graphics card(NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT) is overheating and creating horizontal screen rendering issues - black lines etc and it causes occasional crash. What would price be to replace card and clean inside of any dust please. 

10) my Macbook's (white, 13-inch Late 2007) screen backlight most often turns off when the display is opened at a certain angle (about 70-80 degrees), as far as I've googled up, the inverter is failing. Could you please tell me how much (just roughly) would it cost to repair this problem and how long would it take at yours?

11) I have a problem with my 15" Macbook Pro. It's an early model, from 2006/2007 i think. It's a Intel Core Duo, with a 1.83Ghz processor. Says the model is Macbook Pro1,1. My screen started to flicker today and eventually it's now what I can only describe as washed out/pale look to it. It keeps switching back and forth, but there's no real pattern to why it swops around.  I have connected the macbook to an external monitor and it looks fine on the external monitor. I am not sure if it's the Inverter Cable, or the screen or the inverter itself. How much would it cost to have a look at my mac and how much would it cost if any of those parts needed to be replaced?
